ACCuplacer Test
The Accuplacer is a multiple choice test that is used to see a students current academic ability level. The test has no time limit, and everyone passes the exam, but depending on scores you receive on the different sections of the exam will determine if a student is eligible to take certain college courses.
For more information, test prep, and practice exams follow the link. In years past there used to be three parts to the Accuplacer. Now the writing part is no longer used or given to students so when taking the Accuplacer students will only be taking the Math and Reading sections. College-Ready scores for these sections are below: Reading - 250 Math - 263 If you miss the Accuplacer assessment given at Sidney High School then you can setup a time to take the Accuplacer down at Edision throughout the year, or to re-test to bring up scores if a student desires. To register click on the button to the right. |
