State testing in high school focuses on completion of end of course tests after taking certain subjects during student's high school career.
End of Course Tested Subjects:
English 9 (Starting with the class of 2023, the ELA 1 End of Course exam is no longer required)

Algebra 1
Geometry
Biology
American History

Testing Requirements:
For the classes of 2020-2022 all students are required to obtain a minimum of 18 End of Course points from the 7 EOC exams they will take during their High School careers.
Points available for each exam are 1-5 with a 5 being the highest score.
Also students need to obtain 4 points minimum between the two English exams and 4 points minimum between the two Math exams.
Any students who score a 1 on a exam will be required to retest that exam in the following school years to attempt obtain additional points for graduation.

Testing Schedule:
End of Course makeup exam retesting opportunities will happen in December of each school year. These retests will be for students who scored a 1 on a exam, or who are falling short of the 18 required points for graduation.
During the Spring of each school year starting in March, will be the End of Course exams. These will be given to any students who are currently taking any of the tested courses above. Also during this time there is opportunity for addition retesting for students who are still attempting to gain additional points for graduation.
