    • A program developed to proactively identify school age children who are facing obstacles towards academic, social, and community success by offering support, resources, and counseling.  This program is unique to Shelby County

    • Imagination Library is an early literacy program for children under the age of 5.  At no cost to the family, an age appropriate book is mailed monthly to the family's address.
  • Salvation Army Afterschool Program   937-492-8412
    • The 'Kidz Corps' program collaboration between Salvation Army, Shelby County Counseling Center, Goodwill Easter Seals, YMCA Child Development Center, in which students are served afterschool M-F with homework assistance, access to computer labs, snacks and games.

Community Resource Guide - A document guide of resources in the community. 

Tri-County Resource Guide - This resource guide was developed as a means for first responders to provide information to persons on the scene of opioid overdose, or other drug, alcohol or mental health crisis situations. Law enforcement agencies, fire/EMT, county drug and healthy community coalitions, service providers and others have provided information for the guide, and distribute it to the public.

  • 2-1-1  Much like 9-1-1 is a medical emergency phone number, 2-1-1 serves as a resource emergency number.  For example, if you find yourself with housing for a night, call 2-1-1 and they locate an agency to help.
